OUR PAINT PROCESS

See how we prep and paint your part from start to finish in the below videos.
We use the same process for all Genuine OEM and OE Replacement Parts.
Our process varies slightly for metal parts.

Step 1: Clean & Scuff

First, we clean and lightly scuff the surface of the new part.

Step 2:​ Adhesive Promoter

New Genuine OEM & OE Replacement parts usually come as bare reinforced plastic. To ensure proper adhesion, we apply a product called Plastic Adhesive Promoter.

Step 3: Sealer

A sealer or primer (depending on the material of part) is then applied.

Step 4: Base Paint

Three (3) coats of base paint are used based on your paint code. We use the highest quality materials to ensure a long lasting paint job for your new parts. This video demonstrates 1 of the 3 coats being applied.

Step 5: Clearcoat

Finally, two (2) coats of clearcoat are applied to protect the paint from UV, road debris, ad other damaging effects. This video demonstrates 1 of the 2 coats being applied.

Completed

The final result is a new, factory fresh part that is ready for our mobile installation service or shipment!
